Mary Frances (Murphy) Lambert went to be with her Lord and savior on August 14, 2021. Born to the late Myrtle and Elmer Murphy in Sprigg, WV on March 12, 1929. She worked for Fred's Grocery Store, Logan, WV and was also a proud homemaker. Married to the late Ernest Ralph Lambert on February 26, 1949. She was an active member of the River of Life Church, Rutland, OH teaching Sunday school and as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, brothers Carl, Charlie, Hawthorne and Jack Murphy, sister Sarah Jarrell, grandson Andrew Lambert and son-in-law Bob Gagne. Survived by children Sherry Gagne, Michael (Mary Ellen) Lambert, Paul (Irene) Lambert, and Debbie (Glenn) Brown. Grandchildren Jacqueline Churley, Kindell Workman, Jennifer Lambert, Kristin McGee, Michael Paul Lambert and Kelby Brown. 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Calling hours will be August 16 at 12 pm to 2 pm at the River of Life Church, Rutland, OH. Church service by Rev. John Evans at 2 pm with burial to follow at Miles Cemetery, Rutland, OH. The family would like to thank the staff at Passport Services, including Pasty McQuaid and Mary Ellen Lambert. I remember working with her brothers, Hawk and Jack. I also remember Mike from school and work. I will be saying prayers for the family.
