Betty Jean Oliver, 86 of Rutland, OH passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, OH.
Betty was born November 11, 1938 at Dyesville, OH to the late Emmett McClellen McCaskey and Evelyn Mae Gotscholl McCaskey. She worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant, worked on the family farm, and affiliated with the Victory Baptist Church, Middleport, OH.
Betty is survivded by two sons Vincent (Barbara) Oliver and Randy (Jill) Oliver, a sister Gloria Hutton, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 11 am at Standish Cemetery, Dexter, OH with Pastor Jim Keesee officiating. The family ask that in lieu offlowers donations be given to Birchfield Funeral Home, P. O. Box 188, Rutland, OH 45775 to help with Betty' expenses. Vince and Randy, we are so sorry for your loss. Betty was a good neighbor friend as well as family. I do regret that I never made it out to see her this last couple years. Please think of all the good times and years you got to spend with her.
