Robert Harold Fetty, 96 of Athens, Ohio formerly of Langsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, September 13, 2024, at The Laruel Of Athens, Athens, Ohio. He was born September 15, 1927 in Ohio Township, Gallia County, Ohio. He was the son of Ella Stover Fetty and Augustus Fetty.
He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1948. He was an ASE Master Technician. He tetired from Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation. He was a lay minister for several churches in southeastern Ohio. Sence his retirement from ministry, he had attended the Alexander Presbyerian Church in Albany, Ohio.
Bob is survived by daughter Vickii Fetty-Manring, and son William (Gina) Fetty, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Wanda, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, Ohio. Burial will follow a memorial service at Wright Hill Cemetery, Parkinson Road, Langsville, Ohio officiated by Jim Salyer.
