George W. Miller passed away on December 10, 2020 at his home in Middleport, OH. He was born on October 11, 1939, in Rutland, OH, the youngest child of Ronald Leston and Juanita Margret (Peters) Miller. George was a graduate of Middleport High School, class of 1959. He was an electrician (retired) and was also formerly employed by New York Central Railroad & Penn Central Railroad and Heiner"s Bakery.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald L. Miller, Jr., sisters Maj. E. Joyce Miller and Donna Juanita Stewart, two brothers-in-law, Raymond A. Stewart, and Lowell A. Beaver, and a great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Tarr.
George is survived by his sister Nancy Beaver of Middleport, OH, and four children, David Miller, Middleport, OH, Megan (Scott) Roush, Bidwell, OH, Mary Ann Jeffers, Pomeroy, OH and Margery (Frank) Miller, Lancaster, OH, 23 grandchildren and 25 (and counting) great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family in the near future for all who wish to attend. Cheers to a life well lived and George would say, "Pop a Top" this holiday season in his memory. Online condolences @birchfieldfuneralhome.com.
