Shirley J Cremeans Simmons, 82 of Middleport, OH departed her earthly home Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Rockspring Rehabilition Center, Pomeroy, Oh.
She was born February 20, 1933 at Amsterdam, OH to the late Theodore R. and Dorothy F Pauley Cremeans. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and loved by all. She was of the protestant faith, a 25 yr member of Midnight Cloggers Dance Group, as well as Swinging Seniors.
Shirley is survived by children Kathy Jeffers, Melanie Dudding, and Thomas T. Simmons. Brothers Roma (Jean) Cremeans and Robert Cremeans, sisters Doris Richmond and Judy McDonald. Grandchildren Thomas and Tyler Simmons, Amanda (Jesse) Haggy, and Trista Simmons, great grandchild Tatum Crow, former daughter-in-law Deedrah Simmons, former grandson-in-law Wess Crow, and several Nieces and nephews
Besides parents she was preceded by husband Tommy B Simmons, daughter Frances Simmons, brothers Ted and Danny Cremeans.
At Shirley"s request their is to be no services or visition. The family is having a shared celebration of Shirley and Tommy Simmons lives Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Independent Holiness Church, Rutland, OH.
