Thomas E Lambert, SR, 64 of Bidwell, OH, was called home to be with the Lord, April 20th, 2018,at Holzer Medical Center, ER, Gallipolis, OH.
He was born June 12, 1953, at Westerville, OH to the late Orlie M. McGraw and Ethel M. Lambert, aside from his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Irvin, Ivan, Stanley, Clifford, Howard "Glenn", Harvey, and Charles "Curt", and sisters Terry and Kathy.
He is survived by a son Thomas (Tiffany) Lambert, JR, and the light of his life, his grandson Henley Lambert, Bidwell, OH. Brothers Donald (Tammy) Lambert, Rio Grande, OH and Ronnie Lambert, Gallipolis, OH, sisters Sue McClure, Racine, OH, Janet Norman, Syracuse, OH, and Cindy Lambert, Salem Center, OH.
He was the kind of man who put family and friends Above All Else. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as visiting family and friends and his favorite hobby of fishing. He was a dedicated member of the Vinton Volenteer Fire Department for over 20 years until his retirement.
Services will be at the Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, OH on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018, at 2 pm. Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bidwell, OH. Viewing hours from noon till time of services Tuesday. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Birchfield Funeral Home to help with expences. Even though you are not here to help us all physically, we know you will be helping us from above. We will miss you dearly, but we are at peace that you are free and we love you Pops. OUR PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU.HE WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL MAN ANYONE COULD HAVE EVER KNOWN THANK GOD I WAS BLESSED ENOUGH TO HAVE KNOWN HIM AND BE ALLOWED TO CALL HIM DAD.HE WAS THE BEST AT EVERYTHING HE DID.HE WAS A WONDERFUL FATHER, GRANDFATHER,BROTHER,UNCLE,PERSON,FRIEND AND MOST OF ALL HE AS A HELL OF A FIRE FIGHTER.R.I.P.
