John D. Schuler, 76, of Rutland, OH went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 26, 2018, at Abbyshire Place, Bidwell, OH.

Born April 13, 1942, in Gallia Co., OH, to the late Charles A. and Evelyn L. Denney Schuler. John was a coal miner at Miegs Mine #2, served in the National Gaurd. Member of Goldwing Road Riders Assoc, NRA, and UMWA local # 1886.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla C. Coy Schuler, step children Everett (Teri) Schuler, Roger (Nancy) Schuler, Paul (Carol) Schuler, Guy (Mary Kay) Schuler, Chris Cleland, and Alicia (Herb) Roush. Sisters Jane Eblin, and Jean LaFleur, special grand daughter Bridget Barton, 13 step grandchildren, 24 step great grand children, one step great great grandchild, with numerous nieces and nephews.

John was preceded by his parents, step son James Schuler, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Services are Friday, November 30. 2018, at 12pm, at Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, OH with Pastor Ed Barney officiating. Burial to follow at Gravelhill Cemetery, Cheshire, OH.
